Fuel the work you are doing
Training only pays you back if you feed it. Run your numbers below, then treat them as a starting point — stewardship of the body you were given, not a punishment.

About these numbers
Will eating this way make me feel heavy in season?
It should do the opposite. In season the job of food is recovery and staying locked in under fatigue. If a number here leaves you sluggish at practice, tell me and we adjust it — I would rather change the plan than have you fight it.
Do I have to cut to look and feel better?
Usually not. Most young athletes I talk to are under-fueled, not over-fed. Getting protein and total calories where they belong tends to change how you look and how you move at the same time.
Are these numbers a diet plan?
No. They are a starting point, not a prescription, and they do not replace advice from your doctor or a registered dietitian. Bring them to our first conversation and we will build habits you can hold through a whole season.
